At 1 p.m. officers spoke with an intoxicated male who passed out while sitting at a bar and struck his forehead on his drink glass. This caused a significant laceration. The man refused medical treatment and stated he wanted to stay and “enjoy the buzz.”

A caller reported a suspicious male at his residence. The suspect was ringing the doorbell but the caller didn’t feel comfortable answering the door. It was later determined the suspect was a magazine salesman.

A driver was stopped at 7 p.m. and told he’d left items on top of his trunk.

A caller wanted to know if it was illegal to take garbage out of a public trash can located outside the Montana State University dorms.

A caller made a complaint about magazine salesman who was being very aggressive in his sales pitch at 7 p.m. The caller felt that the man was trying to talk his way into the home. Deputies arrived and found the man walking away from the residence. He was given a ride to his pick up spot and warned to ease up on his approach.
