Three houses without riders were walking on I-90, blocking traffic.

A woman reported that a horse "stepped on her vehicle" on Briar Place.

A caller reported that a man was passed out and blocking the entrance to an apartment building on Main Street.
An officer returned a call regarding a report that dogs were chasing donkeys on South 16th Avenue.
Deputies were dispatched to a home after a 911 hang up call. The resident's dog had sat on the phone and pushed the emergency dial button.

A woman reported that she got a call saying that she won $2 million dollars, which turned out to be a fraud.
A caller reported that a young man was naked on his front lawn and saying that he was leaving on a "spiritual journey." His mother was trying to get him to go back inside.

At 12:30 a.m. officers responded to a man passed out in a running vehicle. He was arrested for his fourth DUI and held in jail without bond.

An intoxicated man threatened to "find and kill" a bus driver who refused him service at 3 a.m.

At 3 a.m., police warned two intoxicated pedestrians to stay out of the road.

At 4 a.m., a caller reported a large bonfire with a bunch of kids yelling and singing.

A vehicle was broken into on Grand Avenue.

A motorcycle was taken sometime during the night. It was recovered on the side of the road near the owner's residence with minimal damage.

A man who had a recent argument with one of his neighbors reported that the air had been let out of his truck tires.

A woman was observed peeling stickers off of cheaper meat items and putting them on more expensive meat items. She was arrested for theft.

A person had questions on how many marijuana plants a person could be in possession of if they have their medical marijuana card.

Underage drinkers fled from a party on Main Street in Three Forks after becoming aware that the neighbors had called the police just before 5 a.m.

A man called the police at 3 a.m. after being assaulted at a large "out-of-control drinking party" on Hitching Post Road. Deputies responded, and the owner of the house was cited with minor in possession and unlawful transactions with minors.

Deputies responded to a large party on Durston Road at 5 a.m. Three males were contacted outside the party, one of whom had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The man was arrested, the party was shut down, and the tenant of the residence was given a warning.

A concerned caller reported that a dog was being kept in an overgrown garden on Buckhorn Trail with no shelter or protection from the weather. Photos were taken and the case was referred to animal control.

Several horses were on Dry Creek Road, headed towards Belgrade.
A small calf was wandering on Stucky Road. The owner was contacted.

Deputies gave a lodging voucher to a family who was trying to get back home to Illinois. Their vehicle had broken down and they were out of money.

Someone broke the windows out of a horse trailer on Nelson Road.

A man stole two cases of beer from a gas station on Valley Commons Drive just after midnight.

A man was sleeping on patio cushions in a flower bed by a creek on North 15th Avenue.

A caller wanted to know if a bride and groom could drink champagne during a carriage ride from the church to the reception at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.

A caller had questions about using a blow gun in the city.

Three teens were reportedly smoking a bong on South 19th Avenue around 5 p.m.

Police could not find a man who reportedly approached a woman on West Main Street around 8 p.m. and told her God had told him to pray for her. The man had a child with him. The woman declined the man's offer to pray for her, and asked police to check on the child.

Two boys were shooting arrows in a park on Michael Grove Avenue around 9 p.m.

A man who was "all tattooed up" told a resident of a subdivision that he was a private investigator and asked to park in the person's driveway around 7:30 a.m. The resident thought the man seemed suspicious.

A deputy warned a man about stealing electricity after he parked behind a gas station and used an outlet there to power his laptop.

At midnight, a man was warned for having an open container of alcohol and was told to take his glass back to the Eagle's Club.

A woman called the police and stated her cousin did not want to leave the bar at 1:45 a.m. The woman was informed there is nothing the police could do because her cousin is an adult.

A resident on Main Street called police at 2:15 a.m. and reported they could smell the marijuana plants growing in their neighbor's house from the parking lot.

A man was warned for camping on city property.

A driver was stopped for making a left turn from the wrong lane and was found to be from Mexico and did not have a driver's license. The driver was asked to park the car, was cited and released.

Men were warned for pushing each other into traffic on Main Street at 2:15 a.m.

Just before 3 a.m., a man was stopped who matched the description of someone the police were looking for. It turned out that he was not who they were looking for.

An adult male was given a warning for hosting a loud party, during which oldies music was played, at 5 a.m.

A subject reported that the March of Dimes Walk-a-Thon event in Bogert Park was too loud. She insisted officers go there and tell them to turn the music down.

A job site trailer parked on Flanders Creek Avenue was filled with "a bunch of junk." The owner of the "junk" left their name and information. The owner of the trailer wanted the person charged and wanted them to come and get the junk.

A large man was reportedly attacking people on Olive Street at 7:30 p.m. He went into an apartment building where he threw cans and wine in a tenant's face before getting kicked out by the landlord.

An officer assisted a woman with questions about how to proceed with a complaint against an Idaho sheriff's deputy for unprofessional service.

At midnight, deputies stopped a vehicle on Norris Road possibly involved in unlawful transactions with minors. After a brief investigation the involved individual was warned and released.

A window was broken and a safe was stolen from somewhere in Big Sky sometime during the night.

A caller complained that a person on Valley Drive routinely plays Frisbee with his dog in the roadway and gets upset when vehicles try to drive by.

A woman said she witnessed someone stealing money out of her wallet so she jumped on the side of a man's truck as he took off. She believed he was trying to kill her. The man stated he needed to steal from her because he "owed people lots of money."

A large group of adults were shooting high powered rifles into the water off of Highway 287 at 8 p.m. They were found to be camping and were warned about gun safety.

A manager of the Big Sky Conoco stated that the night shift worker was a little worried since the break-in that occurred the night before. He asked for more close patrols.

An intoxicated man trying to call 411 to get an out-of-state residential telephone number, accidently called 911 about 12:30 a.m.

A report of a transient man trying to break into an apartment on West Babcock Street with an axe around 4:30 p.m. was unfounded.

A deputy cited several people for being minors in possession of alcohol after at least two people called about a loud fight at a home around 1 a.m.

A driver was cited for tossing trash out of a moving vehicle on Amsterdam Road.

A young bear left "on his/her merry way" after hanging around under the deck of a home on Little Coyote Road. The homeowners later removed a grill and other items that had attracted the critter.

A driver was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing through the intersection of Baxter Lane and Flanders Mill Road around 2:30 a.m. The vehicle ran over a telephone box and was stuck in a ditch. The driver eventually drove out of the ditch but had a flat tire.

An animal control officer moved a duck and her duckling from Durston Road to a safer place.

Police investigated a possible fight involving a baseball bat between two groups of juveniles on South Fourth Avenue. There were no injuries and the two groups were separated.

An officer arrested and cited two juveniles who may have been involved in the South Fourth Avenue fight after finding marijuana pipes on them while searching them for weapons.

A man heard yelling and screaming in a residential neighborhood around noon was "angry with a garage door opener."

A young male, who was filling up at a gas station, barely looked like he was 12 years old, according to a caller. He was a legal driver.

Clothes were stolen from an apartment complex dryer.

A deputy patrolling the River Rock subdivision on bicycle around midnight arrested a man for lying to the deputy and being in possession of dangerous drugs.

A homeowner on Norris Road reported repeated vandalism. Cars were broken into and plants were torn up.

A burglar alarm was triggered by a falling object at a restaurant on North Seventh Avenue around midnight.

A man wearing a purple coat "with Livingston stuff all over it" was reportedly trying to start a fight in a parking lot off West Babcock Street around 2 a.m.

Someone put potatoes in vehicle tailpipes while they were parked on North 10th Avenue.

A donkey on Frontage Road was wrangled and brought back to its farm around 2 p.m.

Police helped a business owner and an angry customer work out a compromise.

An officer gave a confused elderly woman a ride home after a caller said she was walking along South 19th Avenue but "looked like she didn't have any purpose" around 7 p.m.

Deputies were unable to find the source of bullets that were whizzing by a man as he walked behind his home on Cobb Hill Road around 8 a.m.

A farmer reported that someone put a dam at a fork of a creek diverting water to one side. This was not an isolated event and state officials were notified. The caller removed the dam.

A cow moose attracted a crowd near the pond in the River Rock subdivision around 10:30 a.m. A deputy moved the paparazzi away from the wild animal who eventually wandered off to a less densely populated area.

A mail carrier, who knew residents of a home were away, called after seeing a pickup truck backed up to the house as if someone was moving out.

Deputies removed 2,326 large nails scattered along Cobb Hill Road with the help of a passing citizen.

A man was asked to leave a hotel after he harassed a desk clerk early in the morning. The man was upset because breakfast wasn't served until 5:30 a.m.

A pickup truck running in a parking lot on East Main Street for over an hour was not stolen.

Four men were refusing to leave a hotel after an employee asked them to because they were smoking and being loud, belligerent and uncooperative. They eventually went to their rooms.

The owner of a truck with a loud "deafening" muffler agreed to fix it.

A diver wanted to know if it is legal to remove things from sunken vehicles. Police said they'd get back to him.

A Belgrade man was arrested for drunken driving after a caller reported seeing him pull over on West College Street around 5:30 p.m. The man was staggering around with a beer bottle in his hand. He urinated and then got back in the vehicle which he had parked on the sidewalk.

A deputy stopped to check on a semi-truck driver who was replacing windshield wiper blades on the Interstate 90 Bear Canyon exit ramp around 12:30 a.m.

A woman said her neighbor was playing drums in the basement of their building around 2:30 a.m.

A burglar didn't appear to have taken anything from an unlocked vehicle parked on Ghost Canyon Court but may have left his or her cell phone behind.

A driver on Interstate 90 was concerned that a man walking along the road in "blizzard conditions" around 1:30 p.m. was going to get "whacked."

A motorist, who was stopped on North Seventh Avenue just after midnight for driving erratically, was having vehicle problems.

An officer checking on an idling vehicle in a residential garage on South Black Avenue found the occupant was listening to the end of a radio show.

Members of several musical bands staying in a hotel on West Main Street were being loud and disruptive around 4:30 a.m. They quieted down after their promoter spoke with them.

An unrestrained dog damaged the bumper of vehicle parked on East Main Street trying to get at a gopher under the vehicle's hood.

A caller said neighbors behind them throw dog feces over the fence into their yard.

When a deputy checked on a business' open door around 1 a.m., he found a couple of employees who "had stayed late into the night to get some work done."

A caller said that a horse was trying to knock a gate over on Amsterdam Road and that, if it succeeded, there'd be a lot of horses on the road.

A man locked a 5-month-old baby in his car while it was running on Coulee Drive.

A person was cited for a trash violation after a neighbor reported that confetti was blowing all over the place.

A man, posing as a Bresnan employee, knocked on a Woodman Drive door around 9:30 p.m. where a woman was babysitting. The babysitter shut the door on the man who was wearing a sweatshirt. Bresnan said their employees wear uniforms and that they had no employees working in the area at that time.

Two men were arrested for disorderly conduct after a melee at an East Main Street bar, during which a woman was reportedly punched in the face around 1 a.m.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on a warrant when he called police around 1:30 a.m. because he was thrown out of an East Main Street bar after he paid a $10 cover charge. He was removed from the bar because he kept falling asleep.

When a store employee asked a man to leave an area behind the store because the man was going through the trash there, the man became belligerent. He was gone when police arrived.

A woman was reportedly standing barefoot on the edge Interstate 90 around 12:30 a.m.

A bunch of cows were on the road near Valley Center Spur Road around 10:30 p.m.

A group of people were disturbing neighbors by screaming and banging pots and pans while cooking on Willson Avenue at 1 a.m. The party was shut down.

A large group consisting of at least a 100 people was hitting mailboxes, fighting, and being generally loud on 19th Avenue at 1:30 a.m. The residents of the house party were warned.

Small flames were seen coming from an unoccupied double-wide trailer on Yerger Drive around 3 a.m. The fire was extinguished.

A resident complained about unsightly vehicles that were legally parked in his neighborhood near Boylan Drive. He wanted officers to "check these people out."

A radar detector was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Villard Street.

A stolen vehicle was recovered on Coral Drive at 9 a.m. a block from the owner's house. The owner called back to report that there was a lot of property left in the vehicle that did not belong to him.

A caller reported someone had smashed the windows of his vehicle with rocks. He requested that officers take fingerprints off the rocks, and eventually stated he knew who had done the damage.

At 1 p.m. a caller reported her roommate threatened to sell her belongings because she owed money on rent. The roommate was warned not to take any of the caller's property, and the caller was encouraged to pay her rent.

A man traveling to Canada had questions about carrying a gun through Montana and the chances of storing it in the state.

A bicyclist was bitten by an unrestrained dog on Pondera Avenue at 5 p.m. The owner was located and faces charges for animal ordinance violations.

A caller had questions about what fines are for trespassing and how long he would spend in jail if he broke into a tow zone to get his car.

A driver who was reportedly driving down the wrong side of the road and driving "crazy" on Main Street was stopped and found to be not intoxicated.

At midnight a trucker reported an intoxicated man was laying down in the parking lot near a bakery on Highway 287.

A caller stated his dogs had been pepper sprayed by a female who was walking her own dog on River Rock Road at 7 a.m. The caller said the woman sprayed and yelled at his two dogs after they ran over to the woman and her dogs. The caller said the woman "completely overreacted" and that his dogs were not dangerous. Sheriff's deputies located the woman, spoke to her about spraying the dogs, and discovered that she had been involved in several prior unprovoked assaults on dogs.

At 8 a.m. a woman reported that someone left a toy truck near he son's room sometime during the night. She said that it was her son's birthday on Monday, but had no idea who left the toy and was sure someone had illegally entered her home.

A female stated that several months ago she turned a neighbor in for animal cruelty, and now believes the neighbor is retaliating by placing two large piles of confetti near the road so when the wind blows the confetti scatters all over her lawn.

At 8 p.m. a caller wanted to speak with detectives about drug problems between Wyoming and Montana. He was concerned about drugs in Gallatin County.

Officers checking local businesses on Kagy Boulevard just after midnight found one unlocked door, which they were able to lock.

At 1:59 a.m., police checked on a man in a downtown parking lot. He was looking at pornography on a laptop.

A drunken woman who fell off her bike in the middle of West Babcock Street was warned at 2:08 a.m.

A woman asked police if she could use OnStar to locate a stolen vehicle. Then she found out the vehicle didn't have OnStar.

A woman said her girlfriend was throwing all of the woman's stuff onto the lawn. Police separated the two, and the woman agreed to return later to get her belongings.

A woman told police her neighbor had said it was OK to have a dog off the leash at the East Gallatin Recreation Area. It was not. She was ticketed.

A woman said her landlord's cows were damaging her car. When she called the landlord, a man told her the landlord had moved to Texas, then hung up.

An oil barrel blew up, injuring one man, in Big Sky.

A 15-year-old boy was home alone and reported a burglar was upstairs. No intruders were found by law enforcement.

A man followed some children home from school and saw where the hide-a-key was kept, the children's father reported.

A woman wanted police to be aware that someone was talking outside her residence around midnight.

Someone stole prescription medical marijuana from a man's vehicle while it was parked at a business on North 19th Avenue.

A dispatcher told a caller, who waited "at least 15 minutes" for a train blocking Wallace Avenue, that there was no limit to how long the train could block the crossing.

A man was teasing a restrained pit bull with a remote-control car.

A man reported losing his blue Chuck E. Cheese wallet.

Someone threw a woman's cell phone into a creek off West Oak Street.

A caller said two people who were looking for a Jackson Creek Road address to "give away boxes of food" seemed strange.

Parts of a refrigerator that fell off a truck were a traffic hazard on Interstate 90 around 4 p.m.

A man parked in a city park around 2:30 a.m. was smoking a cigarette and told an officer he was a night owl and liked to drive around at night.

An amplifier and subwoofers were stolen from a locked vehicle parked on West Main Street.

Police asked people to move a couch that was in the middle of a sidewalk on South Fourth Avenue around 2:30 p.m.

A baby accidentally dialed 911.

Police warned a man after he drove by an ex-employer's house yelling obscenities around 6:30 p.m.

Two men with a coat hanger, who looked suspicious, were trying to help their friend get into her car after she locked her keys in it on West Main Street around 9 p.m.

An officer removed a shopping cart from the road around 11:30 p.m.The National Guard asked deputies to check on a man who did not show up for April drill. Deputies were unable to locate him at his home.

Kids that "look to be about 6 years old" were driving go-carts around in the street on East Magnolia Drive around 2:30 p.m.

An officer helped a man who could not speak English use a pay phone so he could contact his family after the man flagged the officer down on North 19th Avenue.

A man was sitting behind some bushes near North Ninth Avenue eating beans out of can around noon.

Profanity was painted on a garage door on New Holland Drive.

A woman was warned for driving erratically after she dropped her cell phone and was attempting to retrieve it while traveling along Durston Road around 11 p.m.

Nobody was injured when the intoxicated driver of an SUV wrecked trying to go around a road closure gate in Hyalite Canyon around 4 a.m.

It appeared that a brown dog was stuck on the roof of a home on East Magnolia Drive. A window was open and no one was home.

A man sold his car and left the license plates on it. He contacted Bozeman and Cut Bank police after he received a parking ticket for the car.

A woman sent an unwanted sexual text message to another woman, whose fiancé called the number back and got into an argument with another man. Police told everyone to quit calling each other.

A large, decorative windmill could be heard by a neighbor 400 feet away. She wanted to know if she could climb up and oil it.

An intoxicated 18-year-old man from Idaho thought he was in Idaho Falls when he reentered a business he'd been asked to leave. He was charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol and disorderly conduct.

A stretch limousine struck a light pole on Fallon Street around 10:30 p.m. Its occupants left at the scene.

A 12-year-old was concerned that someone with a bow and arrow near a playground on Michael Grove Avenue might shoot neighborhood pets.

A passerby thought a ladder left leading up to a West Main Street building's open second-story window was suspicious.

Fishing equipment appears to have blown out of a vehicle traveling along Highway 191. A caller retrieved the gear and turned it in.

Hundreds of dollars worth of fishing gear was stolen from a truck by someone who broke out the rear window to get into it while the owner was fishing between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. The truck was parked on Highway 191.

A driver on Interstate 90 saw someone in a pink sweater in the ditch flailing her arms. Authorities could not find her.

The Montana State University Police reports for Sunday included the following:
A man tried to forcibly take a pizza from a delivery person in Roskie Hall around midnight. Police are investigating.

A man said someone had damaged his boat sometime over the past winter while it was in storage. He said the gas tanks had been emptied and it looked like someone "jumped on it and broke the dashboard."

A deputy gave someone a ticket for driving 78 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone.

A man threatened the driver of a Skyline bus at about 4:45 a.m.

Someone thought an SUV containing several teenagers was suspicious.

A deputy's car hit a whitetail deer on Hyalite Road, resulting in minor damage to the vehicle.

A woman who was sleeping in her vehicle in Hyalite said she was awoken by gunshots being fired at her vehicle. She was not injured and there were several bullet holes in the side of her vehicle.

Two men were cited for having an unruly gathering after someone reported loud music and loud people on Golden Rod Lane around midnight.

Someone stole a snowboard, backpack and boots from an unlocked vehicle parked on Holly Drive.

A juvenile who fled when he saw a police cruiser on North Ninth Avenue threw a baggie of marijuana into a yard.

An 8-foot table was lying in the northbound lane of North Seventh Avenue around 12:30 p.m.

A 24-year-old Belgrade man selling puppies in front of Wal-Mart around 1 p.m. was arrested on a warrant.

A woman reported that she had been scammed by two men who said they were from the city and that they would fix the cracks in her driveway. She thought it was free, but then the men tried to charge her $50. She paid them $25 and called police.

A business employee reported "strange" people driving an 1980s model Cadillac "boat-type" car had come into the business and asked when it was closing.

A rock was thrown through the window of an inactive church on Arrowhead Trail.

Bystanders rescued a girl and her dog who fell through ice on a pond near Village Drive around 6:30 p.m.

A woman called about a weasel in her yard on Fen Way. She was referred to wildlife control services.

Three boys who were reportedly on the roof of buildings on North Rouse Avenue around 4:30 p.m. were gone when police arrived.

What appeared to be two propane tanks attached to a light pole on North 19th Avenue was actually an "air quality receptacle."

A man fled a store on South 23rd Avenue without paying for a case of Miller beer around 9 p.m.

A driver was cited for careless driving after an officer saw her swerving. She told the officer she was adjusting her radio.

A man was bitten in an assault that took place around 2:30 a.m. on Sitting Bull Road.

A pickup traveling along Interstate 90 with a load of firewood was losing wood out of the bed of the truck.

A resident on Harper Puckett Road said someone was shooting gophers in the area and bullets were "whizzing over" his house.

The driver of a pickup truck yelled obscenities and flipped off a person on Aspen Leaf Drive around 9 p.m.

A suspicious vehicle that was driving around a neighborhood near Nash Road and then parked in front of a home turned out to be two juveniles just talking.

An animal control officer found no dogs but did find "a huge amount of dog feces" that was not cleaned up on Flanders Creek Avenue.

An intoxicated man wandered into the wrong home and passed out on a chair. Police took him to the hospital.

Someone lit a fire on a man's lawn on Law Road around 12:30 a.m. The man was able to douse the fire with dirt.

Several mailboxes were torn off their posts on Madison Road and left in a ditch.

A 28-year-old from New York crashed his rented snowmobile trying to negotiate a corner and sustained leg, hip and back injuries around 2:30 p.m. off Doe Creek Trail south of Big Sky. Big Sky Fire Department volunteers rescued the man and brought him to a waiting ambulance on U.S. Highway 191.

A woman wanted a deputy to speak with her son about "the seriousness of stealing."

A ladder was in the middle of Interstate 90.

A woman, who thought her car had been stolen from a parking lot at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, called back to say she had found it around 6 p.m.

A man said he was frightened when he had to swerve on West Garfield Street because people were throwing snowballs at his vehicle around 11 p.m.

Several vehicles parked along East Mason Street were egged around 11:30 p.m.

Cars parked on Ali John Drive were egged around midnight.

Three domestic goats were wandering around Flagstone Drive around 11 a.m.

People were shooting BB guns at passing vehicles on North 25th Avenue around noon.

A 55-year-old Tennessee woman fractured her back when she landed on it after sledding off Hyalite Dam. Volunteers with Gallatin County Search and Rescue, Rae Sourdough Fire Department and ambulance workers carried the woman up the hill and she was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.

Kids were racing ATVs up and down Lilac Avenue around 4:30 p.m.

The window of a vehicle parked on South 12th Avenue was smashed.

A bunch of kids were smoking in an alley off North 11th Avenue around 8:30 a.m.

A man was acting "overly angry," kicking a vehicle and screaming at a woman after their vehicle broke down in a parking lot.

A man was arrested for driving under the influence after he drove over the median on Gallatin Road three times and failed field sobriety tests.

Someone said “poachers” were trespassing on private property in Beehive Basin. The caller then said they were not poachers but skiers, one of whom was wearing an orange coat.

At the Cameron Bridge Fishing Access, a person found a plastic bag with checks and other items. The bag had a brick tied to it and was floating in the river.

At 1 p.m. officers spoke with an intoxicated male who passed out while sitting at a bar and struck his forehead on his drink glass. This caused a significant laceration. The man refused medical treatment and stated he wanted to stay and “enjoy the buzz.”

A caller reported a suspicious male at his residence. The suspect was ringing the doorbell but the caller didn’t feel comfortable answering the door. It was later determined the suspect was a magazine salesman.

A driver was stopped at 7 p.m. and told he’d left items on top of his trunk.

A caller wanted to know if it was illegal to take garbage out of a public trash can located outside the Montana State University dorms.

A caller made a complaint about magazine salesman who was being very aggressive in his sales pitch at 7 p.m. The caller felt that the man was trying to talk his way into the home. Deputies arrived and found the man walking away from the residence. He was given a ride to his pick up spot and warned to ease up on his approach.
