* An intoxicated man claimed his intoxicated friend drove his vehicle into a snow drift. The man could not remember the name of his friend, who ran off after the wreck.

* Two men stole a shopping cart from the parking lot of a North Seventh Avenue store to use as a sled. Officers had the men return the cart; the store did not press charges.
