- A motorist left a parking lot along Catron Street, only to have one of his vehicle’s wheels fall off. He found his lug nuts on the ground near where he had parked and figured that a vandal removed them while he was shopping.

- An employee at a West Main Street gas station said a man came into the store, walked behind the counter, spit in her drink and left.
