A man parked in a city park around 2:30 a.m. was smoking a cigarette and told an officer he was a night owl and liked to drive around at night.

An amplifier and subwoofers were stolen from a locked vehicle parked on West Main Street.

Police asked people to move a couch that was in the middle of a sidewalk on South Fourth Avenue around 2:30 p.m.

A baby accidentally dialed 911.

Police warned a man after he drove by an ex-employer's house yelling obscenities around 6:30 p.m.

Two men with a coat hanger, who looked suspicious, were trying to help their friend get into her car after she locked her keys in it on West Main Street around 9 p.m.

An officer removed a shopping cart from the road around 11:30 p.m.The National Guard asked deputies to check on a man who did not show up for April drill. Deputies were unable to locate him at his home.

Kids that "look to be about 6 years old" were driving go-carts around in the street on East Magnolia Drive around 2:30 p.m.
